Workshop Supervisor Required

£25,000-£35,000 depending on experience

You’ll be joining us at our Premier John Deere dealership where we sell and maintain quality machinery ranging from pedestrian mowers to professional ride-on golf machinery, tractors, and chippers.

The Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Groundscare equipment engineer/technician to work with and Supervise our domestic workshop. You will be working with the team on domestic and commercial equipment from world-leading brands such as John Deere, Honda, Stihl, Timberwolf, and others.

Main responsibilities include:

Leading the team in performing diagnostics, service, and repairs to petrol/diesel engines, cordless power tools, and robotics and performing PDI’s of new and used machinery to manufacturer’s guidelines.

Mentoring apprentices and service technicians and participating in regular training programs to ensure the continued development of key skills within the team.

The ability to accurately complete all necessary paperwork, job cards, and times sheets is required.

Skills & qualifications needed:

Proven record of good quality machinery service and repair work
Knowledge of 2 stroke engines is a distinct advantage although consideration will be given to applicants with similar workshop backgrounds.
The ability to follow approved technical procedures to complete repairs.
Proficient knowledge of mechanical, and electrical systems.
The ability to supervise the team and work on your initiative as well as being part of a winning team.

Computer literate with great customers customer service skills

Varied role with a full UK driving license preferred.
